Ian Spencer
Ian is an internationally published artist who loves using light, color and practical effects as a way to create other-worldy effects in his imagery.
Whether he’s trudging through the rainforests of Ecuador, the Himalayan Mountains of India, or creating sets in-studio, he believes that a working knowledge in both science and fine art allows for a more informed approach when documenting one’s surroundings or creating new ones!
Ian was the Creative Director for a photography studio on the East Coast for 5 years before moving to Los Angeles, California. Good ol’ Hollywood!
Ian’s technical skills in lighting and retouching allow for him to shoot just about any subject matter and achieve almost any desired aesthetic. Though he prefers dark, moody, beautiful images he is also experienced in well lit, bright and more commercial types of work. (See ECommerce section for examples)
Also, most recently was the Producer for all of the visual/video assets created for former Disney Channel star turned Independent Music Artist, Bea Miller for her most recent/still being released album.
Aside from his love of art, he spends his time cooking, taking care of his three dogs and starting (but never) finishing video games or books. Haha. Thanks for checking out my third person bio. I’m sure it was riddled with contradictions.
